Dammit. Fixing now...

RWD Altima, color me interested!
Where can I get one of those?

Dammit. Fixing again. It was originally going to be his “ Sienna” coupe , but I thought this would be funnier.

Keep it RWD; using cars for what they weren’t intended for is an Oppo thing to do :D
![]() 12/11/2018 at 14:47 |

True. If I had a RWD ‘98 Altima, I’d definitely put it on a dyno.
Each person can now imagine which wheels were the drive ones. Either way, the guy is just as dead. :D

Wait, we can demand corrections? Cause I was irrationally bothered by the S unchaser only having two headlights :P

I think I’m going to need a link to the story behind this one.

We’re getting closer to W.
This is becoming a more dangerous situation by the day.

Look up how many Ws we have and divide to calculate your chances of survival.

I’m pretty safe I think...
![]() 12/11/2018 at 15:25 |

And you base that on...?
![]() 12/11/2018 at 15:25 |

Ah. For a second I thought I missed a story of a car breaking free during a dyno pull here on Oppo.
![]() 12/11/2018 at 15:30 |

If that actually happened, I would probably specifically avoid making humor out of it, because someone’s baby probably suffered real damage.

I checked the Oppo user base.... many start with ¨The¨
![]() 12/11/2018 at 15:41 |

That’s the thing, I don’t k now how many Ws we have.

The hands held out trying in a futile attempt to stop the car really sells it.
I won’t li e, I’ve spent much of the week thinking up entertaining ways I could die . Best I could come up with is covering a Chinese scooter in starting fluid and dying in the explosion created from trying to start the bike. lol

Okay, that’s a valid evidence-based conclusion.

Aaagh, magic links!!
After filtering down to the Ws that I’ve seen within the past 6 months, that’s not much of a margin of safety...
![]() 12/11/2018 at 17:05 |

The beauty of it is that you’re either already dead or not, and all you can do is wait to find out.
Merry Christmas.

I’m imagining either that or crushed under a pile of collapsing smart cars stacked like a hoarder’s newspapers.

YES

L30? World’s best car in town.
I had to give mine to my friend, but hey - that’s what happens when you decarpet a sedan. The engine made it till 298,316.
![]() 12/13/2018 at 09:34 |

Yep, and it worked just fine here, too.

So good China and Taiwan kept it in production until 2007, and refreshed it twice in between.

Found it! Introducing the Nissan Bluebird EQ7200-II and EQ7200-III:
The dashboard is unique, and surprisingly seems U13- (rather than L30-) based:
![]() 12/15/2018 at 17:07 |

I was thinking about that, China is no stranger to taking existing cars and just giving them a new nose job and calling them new cars, especially the domestics.
However, if I compare the L30 and U13 spec by spec, it almost feels as if L30 is really just U13 again, just that globally Nissan gave it a new name. Wheelbase, height both the same, and if you factor in the nose job, it also explains the new length.

L30, once you take off the body and interior, is nearly identical to U13. All parts swap, most are identical. L30 is 5.3 inches longer but less than 10 pounds heavier.
They changed the brake bias, rear sway bar thickness, and exhaust manifold layout but I think that’s all, between U13 and L30. And subtracted all the cool stuff like ashtray illumination.
But the MY2000 update brought a bunch of changes to a bunch of stuff, like ride height, brake bias, strut brace availability, cup holder count, interior trim, lamps, bumpers, steering, engine power, trans final drive...
Note: I’m in America, talking about American ones with the KA24DE.

It it’s any consolation, you certainly deserved to die. It’s just hard to find a hook for a user that I can also rhyme with its companion. Sometimes I just went with the first plausible couplet I came up with.
